Timelines and Special Requests
It varies, depending on a number of factors:
- Upon receipt of a building permit and with shovels beginning your basement excavation, there’s typically a 6 month building cycle for single detached homes and townhomes.
- However, new homes are sometimes sold prior to roads and site servicing being complete. In these cases, actual home construction does not begin until the roads and site servicing are complete. Closing dates in these instances may be 20 months or longer from the time of sale.
We are a production home builder and not a custom home builder. In that regard, our floorplans have been designed with homeowners’ needs in mind, and we offer many different pre-planned design options for you to personalize your home’s interior features and finishes.

After You Purchase
The scheduling of your appointment will depend on your closing date. You’ll be contacted by the design studio to coordinate appointment times. In the meantime, to get the most out of the process, you can get ready for your appointments by visiting the design studio during our open house hours on Tuesdays between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. We ask that all visitors please call ahead for an appointment to ensure we can accommodate you.
Yes. Glenview provides one guided tour of your home during the construction process. For your safety and management of liability, we’re unable to allow buyers to walk through the homes unattended.
You can expect some variation during the construction process. At times, it’ll seem like construction is progressing fast, and other times it may seem slow. There will be times when the home and lot are neat and tidy, and other times when it seems cluttered or messy. All of this is normal in the new home construction process.
